Mr. Eijsvoogel has 20 years experience in private equity and investment banking in an international context including origination, structuring and execution of structured debt transactions in emerging markets and Central Asia. He was senior practitioner in ABN AMRO Merchant Banking, a private equity business with over EUR 1billion of assets under management and consisting of approximately 20 investments in Europe and Asia with a main focus on direct investments across all sectors of the European financial services industry and played a leading role in portfolio management, among others the strategic and financial dialogues with investee companies.


Mr. Helmut Klier is specialized on turnaround situations and taking interim managerial control in operating companies, with a special focus on the cleantech and recycling industries


Mr. István Nagy possesses combined and extensive experience in Corporate Development-M&A, Private Equity and Entrepreneurship. He spent most of his career in different roles and assignments with the largest and oldest global private equity firm from the US, investing in companies with enterprise values of under EUR 200m, where he acted in origination, Private Equity transacting and transition management. Subsequently he held positions in a medical devices group he directed for add-on acquisitions. Mr. Nagy also possesses experience as an entrepreneur in the media and wholesale distribution arena, where he led a startup to market prominence and profitable exit strategy. He earned a BA in Business Studies (with Honors) from the Oxford Brookes University, School of Business and speaks English, Czech, Hungarian and German.


Our partner has experiences as the origination of the advisory project to the Privatization Administration for Turk Telecom privatization for USD 6.55 billion, project finance advisory in the size of USD110 million for the Built-Operate-Transfer project of Dalaman International Airport, financial advisory in the share sale of Arzum Electrical Home Appliances to Ashmore Private Equity, financial advisory in the 50% sale of G2M Food Distribution to Actera Private Equity and sale of Emsan Kitchenware brand to Karaca Group. Moreover, our partner has advisory experiences in the USD500 million bank syndication for the financing of the license fee of Turkcell, USD300 million high-yield financing of Turkcell, which was the first in Turkey, and Ford & Otosan share sale transaction.

Mr. Yaqoob Ali is a well seasond banker. In his former position with ABN AMRO Bank he brought many Gulf region investors to Europe and international corporations to the Middle East. He subsequently held positions with financial institutions in the Gulf area.


Dr. Christian Schopper, Ph.D.has extensive experience in corporate finance and capital markets transactions as well as in M&A and restructurings across Central and Eastern Europe. Previously, he held positions with Morgan Stanley in London from 1994 to 2001 where, among others, he was in charge of coordinating corporate finance for Central and Eastern Europe and Austria. Dr. Schopper has basic knowledge of French and Russian. He holds a Doctorate of Laws and a Doctorate of Economics both from the University of Vienna and an M.B.A. from IMD in Lausanne. Dr. Schopper is a lecturer for  corporate finance at the universities of Vienna and Graz is a Guest Professor and in Moscow on the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

Michael Guthammar provides advice to companies regarding mergers, acquisitions, company sales, divestitures and capital raisings in the United States and Europe, as well as in China through an affiliate and partners. Mr. Guthammar has more than 20 years of experience with cross-border mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. He advised clients on many transactions between North America and Europe and was also involved in projects in South America and Asia. He gained a significant part of his experience at the merchant banking arm of a major European bank and was subsequently a partner at a boutique cross-border mergers & acquisitions firm. Mr. Guthammar is a graduate of the Stockholm School of Economics and of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Backen is a former founder and CEO of a worldwide developer and publisher of massive online computer games. Following an IPO of the company he held positions with a reputable fund management firm and in oil exploration.


Mr. Le Garsmeur is a seasoned investment banker with 35 years of experience. He previously was responsible for strategy and development for the banking activities of Groupe Suez, including international development for Indosuez. He formerly held executive positions with Chase Manhattan in Paris and London and studied at Stanford.

Mr. Sigurdsson studied Economics at the University of Iceland and has held functions in Luxembourg and Switzerland for the last 15 years in banking and investment. During his tenure at Kaupthing, AumS grew from zero to over EUR 6 billion of assets.


Mats Engstrom and Sigurd Rinde advised a range of companies including: Hershey Food in their takeover bid for Friea Marabou; Marubeni's takeover of the Swedish distributor of Nissan; Incentive AB's divestment of Hasselblad AB and many others.


Mr. Streit has been active in Corporate Finance for many years. He served as the Managing Director of Yeda, the commercial arm of the Weizmann Institute, one of the world leading Life Sciences centres. He served as Director on many corporate boards as well as on philantropic organizations. Mr. Streit holds BA in Economics and Political Science, Hebrew U., Israel. Christian Schopper, has had 30 years global investment banking experience with Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and Creditanstalt Bankverein. He has served on a number of corporate boards as well as on non-profit organizations and serves as Guest Lecturer in Universities in Austria and in Russia.
